WOW, I haven't updated this journal in forever. But then again I didn't think I would, so no harm. I just got done with my audition about 3 hours ago, I feel pretty good about it, considering I started to babble all through the damn thing. Oh Well, at least the directors like me, I hope they will over look my bout of insanity and give me a chance. We will see...

Well I will hopefully remember to update this damn thing when I have an answer on my audition (crosses fingers that she will get a call back)

Well, school has started again. It's only been two days and already my feet are killing me, my back hurts, and I wrenched my knee... all-in-all a pretty good start to the semester. School, it'll drain your pocket book and kill you in the process.

Flood

I have never seen so much rain in my life.

Saturday the 8th, it rained from about 5 o'clock to about 8 o'clock, that's three hours worth of rain when we usually only get about ten to fifteen minuets of rain. It had rained so much that my entire backyard flooded, and my backyard is not small, I mean we had the freaking Atlantic ocean out back. My dogs had a blast swimming when it stopped, I have pictures of them stranded on what little dirt we had left. My neighbors front yard was almost completely washed away, and there are still mounds of dirt from other front yards on the roads around my neighborhood. I mean, man we needed a freaking Ark, it was flooding that much. We need the rain, but not to the point of flooding, flooding does not do the plants any good when the dirt is being washed away. I hope it rains again only softer and not so much. We almost had another flood yesterday, but that had started at 8 or 9 o'clock at night, and the rain was not as hard. Right now we have no rain, just clear night skies. WOW.....

My back hurts. Maybe it's cause I'm leaning at a weird angle on my bed trying to type in this journal? Nah, that cant be why, that would make too much sense, considering that is exactly what I'm doing.

It has actually been raining the past couple days, I'm so happy. I love rain, however it is NOT raining at this very moment! Damn, maybe I should not have sung/written this song, well hopefully it will rain later tonight.

The 4th of July

It was pretty amazing yesterday, not only did me and my family get to see the fireworks, but in the background was the most amazing lightning show I've seen in a long while. I wish I had my camera, but I had left it inside (pouts in a corner). Personally I think the lightning was the most spectacular part of the whole evening, I mean the fireworks were alright, but mother-nature put on a much better celebration I think. I love lightning, something about it has always fascinated me, so any thunderstorm with visible lightning is my favorite. Just thought I would share, was too tired to post anything yesterday, so I'm posting now. Ta for now, kiss kiss.

I'm not sure why I labeled this entry that, I think I'm just loopy tonight. But what else is new? Not Much!!! My friend got a part in a play called Into the Woods and I am sooooo happy for her. I didn't get a part, but that's ok, I'm going to be making costumes for it instead, Little Red Riding Hood to be exact, so that ought to be cool.

Nothing else has been happening in my little world, and unfortunately no white rabbits have gone running through my garden wearing waist coats so I can chase them and go to Wonderland. Nope, they have not :-(

WoW, I think I have reached a new state of crazy, I should sleep or something. Maybe, probably, ok now I'm just writing down every word that pops into my head, I should go. Goodnight all, big kiss, muahhh.

WOW, I cant believe I haven't been on for 7 weeks!!! Well... actually I can believe it, I am not the most reliable person when it comes to logging in to the various things I have accounts for. Oh well (throws up arms in a dramatic fashion).

Summer is here, there was no spring there was just winter, then we were dropped on our bums into summer. Ahhh the lovely scorching heat! Don't cha just love walking out and having your feet fry on the cement, I know I do (can you hear the sarcasm? or more likely "read" the sarcasm?).

This is bad, I never have anything insightful to say, just a lot of useless rambling while in the throes of sleep deprivation or insomnia. Ah vell, tis the way of my small world, and that just the way it's going to stay.

Let me see... I am completely depressed. I am trying to get back onto the theatrical stage, and the 4, count them 4 (in the span of 2 weeks mind you), plays I have auditioned for, I have been passed up for others who have been on the stage in the previous semesters. Can you say discrimination? I knew you could. well maybe when I am a senior in college I will get a part somewhere, then again maybe not, ya never know. I'm not bitter, just sad and doubting my talents, or should I say lack of talents? I haven't been on the stage in 6 years, I know I'm rusty, that's why I need the practice. Maybe....

OH YEAH!!! I just remembered, I had to go to my step-cousins wedding on saturday, and let me tell you, IT WAS BORING!!! I could not believe they had a 45 minuet ceremony!! Usually the ceremony only takes abour 15 minuets, 30 tops, but 45!! I mean come on. not to mention the church they had it in (which was the campus church), the pews stained my sisters and my mothers dresses!!! I think we are going to send the dry cleaning bill to my step-cousin (muhahahahaha). The reception was no better. my family and I got stuck all the way on the back, next to the air conditioner, which was blasting freezing air at us, so we all had frost bite at the end. I have to say that I am not a fan of weddings, especially for people who think they know the proper wedding etiquette, but really have no clue!

Ahhh, well that's my ranting spell for the night, till next time my darlings... Muahh (<-- that's supposed to be a BIG kiss to all my friends, yay). Toodles ya all (by the way, i'm not southern, just insane)

I know technically spring break doesn't start until the 12th, but I don't have to go to my class tomorrow (saturday), so I say that spring break starts RIGHT NOW!!!!!!!

I am soooo happy (dancing around my incredibly messy room), a break what a concept. As you all can see I am deliriously happy, I am so happy that I cant think of anything else to say. No surprise there.

I have no idea what I'm going to do for the break, hang out with friends and family most likely, and sleep. Sleep has become a foreign word to me since I started college. Ah, blissful sleep.

I should go before I burn out what little is left of my brain trying to think of anything else to say that does not include jumping for joy, so bye all.

First ever journal post

Hello out there in cyberspace land

This is my first journal post, and I really don't know what to write. Let me see... I am exhausted right now.
For the past couple of days, I have been working on costumes for a stage production of "The Madwoman of Chaillot" at my school, and they have been keeping me there until 11 o'clock at night. By the time I get home, it is like midnight, then I have to eat something so I don't get up the next morning light headed, and by the time I get to bed it is like 1 o'clock in the morning and I have to get up at 6 o'clock the next day for, guess what, more school. Aint college life swell?

Umm, oh, I have finally been able to watch the movie version of "Rent", and I thought it was great, I would love to see this on the stage.

Uhh, I have now run out of things to say, my life is pretty boring, so I think I will just go to bed now. Good Night all
